A phone as a camera. Help from a trusted person when you need it.
Example view
Only trusted family or neighbours.
You are always in control.
An ordinary, working phone with Android 7.0 or newer is enough.
Quick, clear and without unnecessary formalities.
Install the app on a phone that will stay at the chosen place — at the cabin or at home.
Choose a family member or neighbour who will be able to see the camera image when needed.
The trusted person can check what is going on and, if something is wrong, raise an alarm for the whole network.
Honestly: this makes sense in specific situations — and it is not for everything.
Neighbors Eye is help from people close to you, not surveillance by strangers. Every access decision is yours alone.
Only people you invite can see the image. You can remove any of them with one click.
You give each person a role: live view and alarms, or alarms only — without seeing the image.
You can set the hours when a person may look at the camera. Alarms always work.
The event history shows who opened the live view and when. The stream is not recorded.
You leave a working phone at home as a camera and turn on the live view. A trusted person can check the image when needed and, in danger, raise an alarm for the whole network.
The project is in testing and you can use it free of charge at this stage. There are no subscriptions or hidden fees.
Only the people you invite. The image goes directly between the phones and, when the network does not allow it, through our relay server — without being stored.
No. A working phone with Android 7.0 or newer is enough, ideally plugged into a charger. We do not sell any devices.
This is an early version of the service. We develop it based on feedback from the first users — your voice really shapes how it will work.
